After much deliberation and prayer, we have decided to close Livi Lu Originals. As much as I love sewing for such precious little girls, I cannot seem to find my SuperMom cape anywhere! The orders are more than this one mom can handle right now with a house full of kids who need to eat and have clean underwear. Not to mention chauffeuring everyone everywhere! It is with very mixed emotions that I say good-bye to all of you. I am not saying that I will never re-open. (I've learned to never say never!) Boutique Bottoms are a staple here at Livi Lu Originals. I make them a lot because they are simply fabulous. You cannot understand how great they are until you own a pair!

Every single time that Olivia wears hers she gets tons and tons of compliments on them. I hear people that we don't even know talking about her pants making comments like, "Oh look at those pants!" "Those are the most adorable pants!" "I LOVE her pants!" She is very spoiled by them because they are so comfortable. She asks to wear them nearly every day.

Peasant Dress

Cottage Garden Peasant Dress I'm so pleased with this little dress. This is one of those staple clothing items that you will want to have on hand. They are perfect for cold days with a shirt underneath. For Spring, add a sweater. And for warm weather, throw on some sandals and GO! I love little girls in dresses especially in the Summer.

This dress is a favorite because it doesn't have that boxy shape that most peasant dresses do. It's more fitted and flows so sweetly. Olivia had such fun trying them all on as you can see from the pictures!

I just love the way this set turned out! The top features a ruffled heart and cuffs. Olivia thought they were bracelets! :) The pants have an elastic waist and the same ruffled bottom. It's done with a technique called ruching and it is simply adorable!
I love the fabric because it has a combination of hearts and flowers so you can easily wear it past Valentine's Day. For warmer weather just change out the top with a cute short sleeved red, pink or white one.

Euro Chic Dress Top

I've been so excited to get these tops done and on the site. They are so fun, unique and sassy!

It features an open back with ties and elastic suspender straps that remove easily for washing. This is so versatile too. It will go from season to season depending on what you put underneath. You can even wear it without a shirt at all in the Summer!

One of my favorite things about the top is that it is truly a "Grow With Your Girl" item. You can easily get 2 years out of it with proper care.

The fabric is 100% cotton. The hem will come about mid-thigh.

Sizes are 12 months to size 6.

If you would like to purchase an extra pair of straps in a larger size for later you will need to order them at the time of purchase since I cannot guarantee the fabric will be available in the future. Extra sets are $10.

I recently found out that I can post pictures and updates about the little girl that we are sponsoring in China. Part of the proceeds from Livi Lu Originals pays for her monthly foster care. Helping orphaned children was a big part of the reason I started the business. Here's a little bit about her.

Her name is Olive Min and she is from Qinzhou City in the Guangxi province of China. She is 9 months old. She is a very active girl who, according to her foster mother, never stops playing! She is very clever and smiles alot. She is very loved by her foster family. Isn't she just the most adorable baby?!

Having adopted children from foster care as well as an orphange I can tell you that it makes all the difference in the world for a child to be in a loving home. If you would like to find out more about sponsoring a child you can read about it and see many of the beautiful children waiting for homes at Grace & Hope for Children.

The set features a 2" ruffle and elastic waistband. As always, Livi Lu Originals are customized for a great fit. The shirt has a circle applique that has been lock stitched. All seams are professionally finished. Also included is a cute snowflake clippy! The shirt style may vary from the one shown but it will be a long sleeved white t shirt. I've had this little jumper in my mind for a long time and it's finally ready! Compliments. That's what your little one is going to get when she wears this sweet frock.

The Bell Bottom Orange fabric is from Jennifer Paganelli. It's eye candy! The colors are so vibrant and fresh. The brown and blue dress has a patchwork bodice and features a very limited Michael Miller gorgeous Asian Toile fabric for the apron. (pattern placement on the apron may vary from picture)

This is truly a dress for all seasons. Wear it alone or with a short or long sleeved shirt. The knotted straps are adjustable so as your child grows the knots can be let out. As it gets shorter you can put a pair of jeans under it for another cute look!

I just love this outfit! The Boutique Bottoms are fast becoming my favorite item to make. They have an elastic waist so you will get a lot of wear out of these. The tank top is purchased but I embellished it with a cute Yo Yo flower. It comes in Blue and Green, depending on the size. We got tons of compliments when Olivia wore this the other day. Due to overwhelming demand :D I will have to stop taking orders for a short time. I am having great difficulty getting the fabric. After 3 weeks on backorder, I now have enough to finish the orders I already have. Thank you for your understanding. I am also nearly finished with the Peasant Top & Ruffled Pants for the Fall.
